Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Rajan Template (https://rajantemplate.co.in/) collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and what control you have over it. It applies to every page on this domain. If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using the site.
The person responsible for the data described here (the “data controller” under GDPR, the “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023) is the operator of Rajan Template, contactable at admin@rajantemplate.co.in.
1. Summary in plain language
- You can read every guide on this site without giving us any personal information.
- We do not run a newsletter, do not sell data, and do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
- We do use Google AdSense and Google Analytics, and those services set cookies and collect usage data.
- If you leave a comment or email us, we keep what you send until you ask us to delete it.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time — links are in section 6.
2. Information you give us directly
Comments
When you leave a comment we collect the name, email address and optional website you type into the form, the comment text, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. The IP and user-agent are collected for spam detection. An anonymised hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to display an avatar; Gravatar’s privacy notice applies to that transfer.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form or write to us directly, we receive your name, email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. We do not add contact-form addresses to any mailing list.
3. Information collected automatically
Server log files
Like nearly all websites, our host records standard log data on every request: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, the page requested, and a date and time stamp. These logs are not linked to personally identifiable information and are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing errors.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them for basic site function, for anonymous analytics, and for advertising. A full list, including what each cookie does and how long it lasts, is in our Cookie Policy.
4. Why we process your data (legal bases)
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Serving the website and keeping it secure | Log data, IP address | Legitimate interest |
| Publishing and moderating comments | Name, email, comment, IP | Consent |
| Replying to your message | Name, email, message | Consent / legitimate interest |
| Measuring which guides are read | Analytics cookies, usage data | Consent |
| Showing advertising | Advertising cookies, device data | Consent (personalised) / legitimate interest (non-personalised) |
5. Third-party services we use
We share data with the following processors. Each has its own privacy policy, which governs what it does with that data.
- Google AdSense — advertising. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Google Analytics / Google Site Kit — anonymous traffic measurement.
- Our web host — server logs, page delivery, backups.
- Akismet or similar — comment spam filtering, if enabled. Comment content and IP are checked against its database.
- Gravatar (Automattic) — avatar images for commenters.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
6. Advertising, Google AdSense and your choices
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.
- If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a consent banner asks for your permission before any advertising or analytics cookie is set, in line with Google’s EU User Consent Policy. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from the same banner control.
Blocking advertising cookies does not stop you seeing ads. It means the ads you see are non-personalised.
7. Links to other websites
Our guides link to external sites such as CapCut, Google Gemini and app stores. Once you click such a link you are on that company’s property and this policy no longer applies. We have no control over their content, cookies or data practices, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site that asks you to sign in or upload a photograph.
8. How long we keep data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Approved comments and their metadata | Indefinitely, until you request deletion |
| Emails and contact form submissions | Up to 24 months after the conversation ends |
| Server access logs | Typically 30–90 days, per our host’s policy |
| Analytics data | Per the retention period configured in Google Analytics |
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal duty to retain it.
- Objection and restriction — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Complain — to your local data protection authority. In India, the Data Protection Board established under the DPDP Act 2023.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you additionally have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of it. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email admin@rajantemplate.co.in with “PRIVACY” in the subject. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity before acting.
10. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13, or under 18 where the applicable law — including India’s DPDP Act 2023 — requires verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We apply software updates, restrict administrative access, and keep backups. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International transfers
Our service providers, including Google, operate globally. Your data may therefore be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, the law, or our service providers change. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
14. Contact
